Mammootty- Ranjith team`s highly awaited movie Puthan Panam hits the big screens today. As the promo teasers and trailer of the movie has created a huge buzz prior to the release, the movie is expected to be a huge hit at the box-office.

Puthan Panam has Mammootty playing the character of Nithyananda Shenoy, a middle-aged businessman from Kasargode. Going by the title, Puthan Panam revolves around black money and the confusion of the working class people following the government`s surgical attack`.

Bankrolled by Abraham Mathew, Ranjith and Arun Narayan, Puthan Panam also stars Siddique, Mammukkoya, Renji Panicker, Saikumar, Iniya, Indrans, Sheelu Abraham, Joy Mathew, Niranjana Anoop and many others in significant roles. Scripted by Ranjith himself, Puthan Panam`s cinematography is handled by Kollywood`s most celebrated cinematographer Om Prakash.
