For the last two days, the online sites in Kerala carried a lot of stories about Megastar Mammootty contesting in the coming elections. It was reported that he will be contesting as a left candidate. But when contacted, the megastar's camp clears the air about the spreading news.

As of now, Mammootty will not contest in the year's LS elections.
