All set to follow the footsteps of Mohanlal is Mammooty. The sought-after hero in Malluwood is now eyeing sensitive and sensible roles.
In recent times, Mammootty has focused a lot on action-packed movies. Unfortunately his last Prajapathi did not do well at the box office.
Mammootty was supposed to work with director Kamal in the month of December. But he has now advanced the film.
In the film, Mammootty is going to play the role of a Tamil daily-wages worker. Padmapriya is his heroine in the film. She joins hands with Mammootty after Rajamanikyam.
Meanwhile, the shooting for Pothan Vava to be directed by Joshi would begin only after Mammootty completes Kamal's film.
Mammootty has decided to play down-to-earth characters for now.
