Legendary pan Indian superstar Mammootty's mother Fathima Ismail passed away earlier today. She was 94 and was admitted to a private hospital in Kochi due to age related illness where she breathed her last.
Fathima Ismail is survived by five children including Mammootty and several grandchildren including young superstar Dulquer Salmaan. Her last rites will be held at 4pm at Chempu Juma Masjid in Vaikom.
Several celebrities from Mollywood and Kollywood have expressed their condolences to Mammootty including Simran who starred with him in 'Indraprastham' released in 1996.
