The Vanitha Filmfare Awards have been declared. Mammootty has been selected as the Best Actor ('Varsham'), while Manju Warrier has been declared the Best Actress for her performance in 'How Old Are You'.

Anjali Menon will get the Best Director Award ('Bangalore Days'), while Abrid Shine's '1983' has been declared the Best Movie.

Nivin Pauly will receive the Popular Actor Award (Om Shanti Osana, 1983) and Nazriya has won the Popular Actress Award (Om Shanti Osana, Bangalore Days). Biju Menon will receive a Special Performance Award for 'Vellimoonga'. Other award including Best Villain for Jayasurya (Iyobinte Pusthakam), Best Comedy actor for Aju Varghese (Vellimoonga) etc too have been declared.
