Mammootty's new project tentatively titled 'Chempakaraman' which was all set to introduce the popular TV director K K Rajeev into films, was planned to start by the end of this month.

But as per the latest reports Mammootty has asked the director to shift the shoot of the film to a further date.

This postponement is said due to the non completion of the final scripts for the film. The movie, in which Mammootty appears as a drama actor, will also feature Kavya in the female lead.

In the meantime Mammootty will complete ‘Raudram’ with Renji Panikkar and his Christmas release ‘Katha Parayumpol’.

Thereafter the actor will join the sets of ‘Twenty Twenty, that is planned to start by the first week of December.
