Mammootty is back in Tamil

Mammootty makes his foray to Tamil cinema after a long gap. The numero uno actor of Malayalam filmdom was last seen in a Tamil movie titled Junior Senior.

Now Mammootty has been assigned to act in a film titled Vande Matharam to be directed by Karthik, a former associate of Mani Ratnam.

Mammootty plays a tough cop in the movie while Sneha cast opposite the mega star, dons the role of a pilot. The movie would have music by Vidyasagar.

Pankaj Productions Henry will produce the movie in both Tamil and Telugu respectively.

Mammootty and Sneha had acted together in a Malayalam movie Thuruppu Gulan last year. The movie was a blockbuster hit.

Mammootty had acted in Pankaj Productions Henry's film Marualarchi a few years ago.
