Last year superstar Mamootty was more than happy to don the role of the ambassador to the Volleyball league, which also had a impressive video teaser shot by Aashiq Abu. Now the latest we hear is that Mammootty has agreed to play the role of a Volley ball coach in the new sports based movie to be directed by V K Praksh.

Much of the cinephiles will remember the success of ''Çhak De India'' with Shah Rukh Khan as the hockey coach, which paved the way for the production of more sports based film in India. Every language followed the genre and even in Tamil we had films like 'Vennilla kabadikulu' and 'Chennai 600028, which all were Box Office hits.

Anyway this Malayalam movie by V K P , which is yet to be titled is reported to have a very interesting script lines by Y V Rajesh. Mammooty after reading the one line has immediately agreed for the movie which will be on sets by the month of August.
