Mammootty has been roped in to play the lead in Siddique's upcoming 'Bhaskar the Rascal'. The actor was last seen in a Siddique movie nearly 10 years ago.

The duo has teamed up for a few successful movies including 'Chronic Bachelor' and 'Hitler'. Siddique's previous movie was 'Ladies and Gentleman' with Mohnlal in the lead.

'Bhaskar the Rascal' is scheduled to start rolling by mid -December. As the title suggests, the movie is expected to be an action comedy. The director has revealed that it will be made in his signature style and will combine all the elements of humour, action, romance and dance. Mammootty is scheduled to join the sets as soon as he completes 'Fireman' helmed by Deepu Karunakaran. The lead heroine is yet to be finalised.
