Mammootty in Kannada

While Mohanlal is all set to start his new movie ‘Shikaar’ in Malayalam, Megastar Mammootty is getting ready to act in his first Kannada movie titled as ‘Shikari’. One of the most accomplished actors of India will open his account in Kannada by playing a double role, the first one as a software techie and the second as a freedom fighter.

Abhay Sinha, an ardent fan of Mammootty, is the director of the movie who will start calling the shots for the film, from the first week of May.

The latest news is that Abhay is trying to bring in Bollwood star Konkona Sen Sharma as the heroine of this movie. Simha, a product of FTII, believes in good cinema that is entertaining and sensible. He shot to fame after the 45-minute documentary on the psychology of twins, triplets and quadruplets. He has 19 documentaries, 10 short films and two music videos to his credit.
