Mammootty in an as 'Thappana'

After the super duper hit 'Veruthe Oru Bharya', the new film by director Akku Akbar featuring Mammootty in the lead will be titled ‘Thappana'.

The name stands for the elephant which is used to train wild elephants. The movie will have Mammootty playing the role of a proud owner of a famous elephant. Reji Nair will pen the scripts for this movie.

'Thaappana' will feature the elephant owned by actor Jayaram. Earlier the same elephant was featured in Mammootty's 'Rappakal'.
