Mammootty in a Tamil movie

After a long gap, Mammootty would make his foray in Tamil cinema. The actor, who had been part of several movies in Tamil cinema before, chose to concentrate his career in Malayalam.

Currently he is shooting for Ore Kadal directed by Shyama Prasad in Chennai.

Mammootty has accepted to play a prominent role in a Tamil movie to be directed by Maniratnam's associate Karthik for producer Henry. Mammootty had last acted in Junior Senior in Tamil.
