A busy schedule awaits Mammootty. In the forthcoming months, he would venture to do over half-a-dozen movies.

The long list includes Kamal's Karutha Pakshikal and Ranjith's Kaiyoppu.

Says Mammootty, 'I will be doing a film by Shyamaprasad and another with Fazil, which is being written by Siddique. Then there is Amal Neeraj's film. I am also doing films with Major Ravi and K K Rajeev,' reels off Mammootty.

After creating magic in Oru Vadakathan Veerakatha, Mammootty would team up with Hariharan and Vasudeva Nair again for Thalakkal Chanthu.

Also in the list in Blessy's Palunku, in which Mammootty plays the lead.

Says the actor, 'It is a tough role. I play a small-time farmer who is not very educated. But when he starts interacting with a consumeristic society, he becomes ambitious and greedy. The film is about how the changes impacts on him and his family'.
