Megastar Mammootty is having a rare credit to see three of his films running simultaneously in the major stations. The films which are in theatres at present are Blessy's Palunku, Renjith's Kaiyoppu and Shafi's latest film Mayavi.

Blessy’s Palunku which was released last Christmas still finds decent crowds. The film is expected to leap over the initial low collections as steady family incomings are a regular view in theatres showing Palunku.

Renjith’s Kaiyoppu, an offbeat shorter film than usual just made advertisements in the first week, claiming this as the movie for the serious buffs only. The advertisements even asked the diehard Mammootty fans to avoid the film, if they are looking forward for an entertainer.

Even after this negative propaganda in terms of advertising cinema, the film is moving on to complete 25days this weekend. The film which was made in a shoestring budget of 20 lakhs will definitely becomes an earner.

The third film Mayavi released a couple of days back is taking a fantastic opening .The film is believed to become the first mega hit of the year.
