Saramma teacher was in a surprise mode when she received an unexpected guest Mammootty the megastar of Mollywood. All this started in a FM Radio channel programme where Mammootty spoke about his old time teacher and the teacher writing a letter back on his birthday with birthday wishes.

It was a walk down the memory lane. Saramma taught science for Mammootty in eighth standard at Vaikom Kulesekharamangalam School. She taught him science only for one year, but the memory of the teacher still lingers in his mind. Saramma teacher is now leading a retired life with her daughter in Kisa, Dubai. Mammootty visited the teacher without informing them in advance. He came to UAE as to attend a function at Sharjah Book Festival.

During the meeting, memories of other teachers also popped up - Bhavani Teacher, Nalini Teacher etc. The actor still remembered all of them. He said that Saramma teacher never punished him like other teachers by making him stand outside the class.
