The new Mammootty film with cinematographer-turned director Venu has been titled as 'Munnariyippu'. Scripted by R Unni, director-producer Ranjith will produce the movie in the banner of Gold Coin Motion Pictures. The switch on function of this movie was held at Calicut Guest House today. The movie will have 'ABCD fame Aparna Gopinath as the heroine while Nedumudi Venu will come up in an important role.

National Award winning cinematographer Venu had earlier turned a director with the movie 'Daya' scripted by M T Vasudevan Nair.
