Mammootty seems to be in good fortunes as he is continuously evading blasts and accidents in his shooting sets.

The latest blasts that he survived happened in the sets of Mission 90 days directed by Major Ravi, a couple of days ago.

The film is based on the real life story of a major who was on to the investigation and seizing of sivarasan that followed after the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi.

The director was shooting the commando operation sequences made to capture Sivarasan in a house at Vytilla.

Mammootty who has completed the day's shooting was waiting to see the bomb blast sequences being shot.

Before the blast, Cochin Haneefa and the director asked Mammootty to stand away from a place where he was, to see the blast.

As he shifted to a further longer place, the blast happened in the same place Mammootty was standing earlier. A number of artists including compere Shyam Mohan were injured in the petrol bomb blasts.
