Mollywood megastar Mammootty will be the chief guest of the valedictory function of this year’s International Film Festival at Goa. The actor will be in the limelight of the function, to be held on the 3rd of December. This is the first time a Malayalee actor is invited to be the sole guest of honour of IFFI.

The festival which starts by the 23rd of this month, will also feature two movies of the star-Kutty Shranku will be shown in the Indian panorama while ‘Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja’- the magnum opus historical which has become the biggest hits of Mollywood, will be screened on November 27.

Veteran Bollywood actress Waheeda Rehman will inaugurate the festival on the 23rd of this month in a grand function, in which south Indian glamour queen, Asin will light the lamp.
