The Malayalam blockbuster "Bhramayugam" has garnered massive acclaim and success, creating a buzz with its first look and trailer. While the Telugu version was initially set for a February 15 release, it was delayed. However, the wait is finally over as popular production company Sitara Entertainments has acquired the Telugu theatrical rights and announced the film's release on February 23. Directed by Rahul Sadashivan, the film is set in the 18th century and is shot entirely in black and white, adding to its eerie atmosphere. The story follows a man who becomes trapped in the house of Kadumon Potti (Mammootty) after losing his way in the forest with his mother. Despite his efforts to escape, he finds himself repeatedly returning to the same house, setting the stage for a thrilling narrative.
Mammootty's portrayal of Kadumon Potti has received acclaim, highlighting his versatility and ability to excel in experimental roles. Arjun Ashokan, Siddharth Bharathan, and Amalda Liz also play key roles in the film, with Cristo Xavier's background score adding to its overall impact.
