Mammootty back in Ore Kadal

Mammootty, back after a 72 hour tour to Germany, has again joined the sets of Ore Kadal.

Mammootty is playing the role of a noted economist in this film. The film is based on Sunil Gangopadhya's Bengali classic 'Heerak Deepti' and is a love story set in very intense and difficult situations.

Ore Kadal (the sea within) is a very intimate study of man-woman relationship set in modern times.

“For me it is a continuation of the earlier themes that I have done of love and redemption,” says the director Shyamaprasad on his film.

Shyamaprasad who has a passion for similar themes has earlier created such great offbeat film in Malayalam like Agnisakshy and Akale.

For the first time he is joining with Mamootty. The film will have Narain and Meera Jasmine doing the role of a husband and wife. Amidst their worthy life comes Nathan, the noted economist played by Mammootty.

The film is cinematographed by Azhagappan and has music by Ouseppachan.
