Here comes a special announcement on the occassion of International Women's Day. Mollywood's most sought after actress Parvathy is teaming up with Megastar Mammmootty for the first time for an upcoming movie titled 'Puzhu'. The makers have also unveiled the title look poster of the movie.

Sharing the poster on his social media handle, Mammootty wrote, "Women’s day wishes ?? Here is our next project - Puzhu Movie #Puzhu #PuzhuMovie"

Puzhu will also be the first film in which Mammootty and Dulquer work together, father doing the male lead and son taking the role of a producer.

Directed by debutante Ratheena, the movie will be produced by S George. Penned by ‘Unda’ fame Harshad, the movie's screenplay is written by Suhas and Sharfu, who made their debut with ‘Varathan’ and later co-wrote the multi-starrer ‘Virus’ with Muhsin Parari. Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films will be releasing the film in theatres.

Cinematography is by Theni Eswar, who has done several Kollywood films including Mammootty's last Tamil movie Peranbu. Jakes Bejoy has been assigned as the music director and Deepu Joseph will be handling the edits. The film which is expected to go on floors by the end of April, will be released in multiple languages. Stay tuned for more updates.
