Mammootty and Mohanlal received Golden Visa from UAE govt

On Monday, Malayalam actors Mohanlal and Mammootty received the Golden Visas from the United Arab Emirate's Government. The prestigious honour was presented by Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa Al Hammadi, the Chairman of Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development.
Sharing a picture from the ceremony, Mohanlal wrote, “My grateful thanks to H E Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa Al Hammadi for bestowing upon me the Golden Visa for the UAE. Am indeed honoured. My gratitude also goes out to Mr @yusuffali.ma for facilitating this. @abudhabided. The actor also shared a video that has the two actors seen spending time at the Abu Dhabi office along with Yusuffali.
Meanwhile, Mammootty wrote, “My sincere gratitude to H E Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa Al Hammadi for my UAE Golden Visa ! Many thanks to my brother @Yusuffali_MA for helping make this happen.@AbuDhabiDED.
This is the first time Malayalam actors are granted UAE’s Golden Visa. Earlier Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Dutt were awarded the prestigious honour. The golden visa is usually granted to eminent personalities such as investors, doctors, engineers, and artists who have made significant contributions to their field. The recipients of the Golden visa are allowed to live and work in the Emirates without the need of a national sponsor for 10 years.
