For the first time in over four decades, a government is retaining power in the state of Kerala. The Left Democratic Front (LDF), led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan proudly ensured a second term in the Kerala Assembly elections 2021, by winning 99 of the total of 140 seats. Several Mollywood fraternity took to their social media pages with greetings for the historical win. 

Hours after the declaration of election results on Sunday, several stars including Prithviraj, Manju Warrier, Kunchacko Boban, Tovino Thomas, and others congratulated the LDF and the CM Pinarayi Vijayan for retaining power. The latest celeb to congratulate the CM is Megastar Mammootty.  The actor took to his Facebook page and penned greetings to the CM and the winning candidates. "Congratulations to all winning candidates and honourable Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan who is entering the second term, “wrote Mammootty sharing alongside a throwback picture with the CM.

Mohanlal also congratulated the CM and winning candidates." Congratulations to all the dear candidates who won the legislative assembly elections," Mohanlal wrote. 

The swearing-in of the new cabinet is likely to be held on May 7 or 10. An official word is yet to come.
