Vemal’s ‘Anjala’ faces plagiarism charge

Vemal-Nandita starrer 'Anjala' followed a new promotional strategy with a peppy song 'Tea Podu' which featured many leading Kollywood celebrity with tea glasses in hand. The song became a hit and is being screened in TV channels often.

Now an independent music band called ‘Mami Boys’ has claimed that the ‘Tea Podu’ song is their composition which they released in AVM Studios in the year 2013. They added that the promo song’s theme and video concepts are copied from their ‘Dhum Tea’ song and they are now planning to seek the judicial help for this problem.

Meanwhile ‘Anjala’ is ready to hit the screens soon. We have to wait and see how the team is going to sort out the issue within this short period of time. The film has been produced by stunt master Dhilip Subburayan and Pasupathy has acted in a pivotal role. .
