'Mambattiyan' to release in 700 screens

‘Mambattiyan’ is releasing in 700 theatres across the globe. The film sees Prashanth in the titular role of the forest brigand, ‘Mambattiyan,’ with Meera Jasmine pairing up with him as his heroine. The film is directed by Thyagarajan and is all set for release. The film has been shot across most of the thickets in South India.

Music is by Thaman, there are six songs in the film with one remix, which has been crooned by Simbu, which is a highlight of the music album.

Prashanth is absolutely thrilled that his film is seeing a release in as many as 700 theatres panning the globe. The film also sees Prakash Raj, Mumaith Khan and Vadivelu in important roles.

There are also reports from sources in the Tamil film industry that post ‘Mambattiyan’ Prashanth has signed for two films with big production houses. Some reports suggest that both these films will be directed by big names in the industry.
