Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today campaigned for the BJP in the poll-bound West Bengal. The BJP leader addressed a rally in Howrah and said that TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee is opposed to Lord Ram.
Yogi recalled an incident from two years ago and said that the TMC government tried its best to ban the Durga Puja in the State. "The Kolkata High Court then called out the government, saying if Durga Puja can be celebrated in UP, then why not in Bengal," Yogi added.
"Didi is now opposing Lord Ram also," Yogi added, saying that the Bengal CM recently said that she doesn't like the word.
In the speech, the Hindutva leader alleged that the TMC, which has been ruling the State since 2011, has turned Bengal into a land of hooliganism and anarchy. Yogi expressed confidence that BJP will form the government after the May 2nd results.
