Malluwood - Underworld is the focus

After Tamil cinema which was bitten by the underworld phobia, it is now the turn of Malayalam filmdom.

Move over soft romantic stories and realistic movies. The mafia fever has gripped Malluwood now.

Mohanlal's Baba Kalyani, Suresh Gopi's Smart City and Prithviraj's Pagal are based on underworld stories.

Baba Kalyani features Mohanlal and Mamta Mohandas, while Smart City has Gopika and Lakshmi Gopalsamy giving Suresh Gopi company. In Pagal, Prithviraj play the lead role along with Jyothirmayi.
