Malluwood - The race for the Ramzan winner

Classmates by Lal Jose and Keerthi Chakra by Major Ravi were the undoubted winners of Onam in Malluwood. The films of the either superstars which arrived for the fair didn't made it better than these films.

And now, as Ramzan is coming up in a matter of few days, the clash is on for the winner of the festival films.

The first to arrive will be Pothen Vava, which is scheduled to get released on the Deepavali day, on 21st of October. The film which features Mammootty with Joshy after a gap of six years is the most rated film to get released during the festival. The script by Benny P. Nayarambalam is said to have every ingredients to make it a winner.

Moreover the film also marks the debut of pop singer Usha Uthup into filmdom. Distributed by Lal release the film will arrive with 52 prints in 45 centres.

Mohanlal will have his Photographer with Ranjan Pramod which is scheduled for a release on 23rd of this month. The film marks the entry of a few new heroines like Nityasree and Saranya into Malluwood. The film which is based on Muthanga issue will be a realistic film shot in deep jungles.

This film produced by Dream Team International will definitely stand apart from the normal entertainers, as it will present the theme in a novel way. Moreover Mohanlal is also appearing in a double role in the film. The film will be released with 45 prints in 42 stations.

Suresh Gopi has something special for his fans this Ramzan, as his action packed thriller ‘Bada Dost’ is releasing on Ramzan day, October 24. Produced by actor Siddique and directed by technical wizard Viji Thambi, the film is said to be a racy entertainer. It has everything that normal Suresh Gopi fans wants from the star like hard action and plenty of punch lines.
