'Mallepuvvu' cans songs at Basara

A song was canned for 'Mallepuvvu', directed by Samudra, produced by Mohan Vadlapalli and presented by Prasadraju P on the banner of Sri Samudra Silver Screens with Bhoomika in the lead, at Basara in Adilabad district recently.

Director says, 'Recently we shot some scenes at Basara and also in Ramoji Film City. Presently shooting is progress at Hyderabad. This is the last schedule. Bhoomika's performance would remain highlight of the movie. Though our hero Muralikrishna is a novice, he is showing good ease in performance like an experienced artiste.'

Producer says, 'Director Samudra is moulding the film in a grand way. Music by Illayaraja, lyrics by Veturi would make the film further attractive. There are a total eight songs which we completed canning of five. We are making efforts to launch the audio in the first week of July and release the film in the first week of August.'

'Ayan' - From Malaysia to Zanzibar

Suriya starrer ‘Ayan’ was shot extensively in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The crew is now planning to shift to exotic locales in Zanzibar (part of the Eastern African Republic of Tanzania).

Box office analysis

It was expected that MERE BAAP PEHLE AAP would taken an opening in the middle range (around 50%) but it was a little lesser than that. Thankfully, it wasn't a shocking opening per se and decent collections over the weekend mean that this medium budget film would do well in recovering it's cost.
