Thalapathy Vijay is one of the biggest superstars in South Indian cinema with a huge fan following across states and his films are huge grossers worldwide. Famous Malayalam villain and character actor Siddique has irked Vijay fans especially the Kerala ones by stating that their idol is not a good actor.
In an interview, Siddique has expressed his opinion as such “The Malayalam film industry is lucky enough that we have two big Ms- Mammootty and Mohanlal, both of whom are superstars as well as impeccable actors. Whereas, other industries like Tamil have a different scenario. People like Vijay may be a superstar, but he is not a super actor. It is his stardom that spurred him in the industry. However, I believe Kamal Haasan is a good actor and superstar.”
Harish Peradi another famous Malayalam villain actor who has costarred with Vijay in 'Mersal' has, however, replied to Siddique that Vijay is both a superstar and a good actor and unlike other superstars, he is most humble and a good human being.
Vijay is currently shooting for 'Thalapathy 63' directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment which has Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, Vivek, Yogi Babu, Indhuja and Kathir in the cast.
