Veteran actor Ravi Vallathol who has played a number of notable characters in various films and television serials passed away on Saturday. The 67-year-old actor was under treatment for Alzheimer's disease in a private hospital. The actor has been away from movie ever since he was diagnosed with the disease. He breathed his last at his residence in Trivandrum.
Ravi Vallathol is a household name among the Malayali family audience. The actor Vallathol made his acting debut in the 1987 movie 'Swathi Thirunal' and has acted in over 46 films. He is still remembered for his characters in 'Kottayam Kunjachan', 'Saagaram Saakshi', 'Nee Varuvolam', 'Godfather' etc. Apart from movies and serials, the actor has also penned several short stories.
