Saheed Arafath's directorial venture 'Theeram', the acting debut of late actor Ratheesh's son Pranav Ratheesh will hit the big screens on July 21st. The movie which is a love tale set in the backdrop of Alapuzha's scenic beauty, features Pranav in the role of an auto rickshaw driver.

The female lead is played by popular model Maria Yohannan essaying the role of a Muslim girl working in a local food company. Theeram also has Tiny Tom, Anjali Nair, Krishna Prabha and Sudhi Koppa in the pivotal roles.

Scripted by Prinish Prabhakaran and Ansar Thajudeen, 'Theeram' has already garnered attention for its musical offering. Bollywood singer Armaan Malik makes his debut Malayalam song, with the song titled 'Njan Varumee Paathayilaai' which is already a sensation on social media.
