Ad filmmaker Sharrath Sandith’s directorial debut Parole has got media attention after the crew released its contrasting poster which shows intense Mammootty with flag bearing activists in the background, and in another poster depicts him as a convict with an older look. In true sense, these posters have raised the curiosity of the audience.

And as per information, Parole is set for release on March 30. Century Films will be releasing the movie in Kerala. Parole marks the directorial debut of ad filmmaker Sharrath Sandith. The movie scripted by Ajith Poojappura is based on some real-life incidents. It is a common man’s story with a political background for the lead character. Mammootty plays the role of Sakhavu Alex and three different phases of his character will be shown in the movie. As per the makers, Mammootty has given such an intense performance that it will remind the viewers of his earlier days.

In the past also Mammootty played the role of the convict, like Joshi’s film Nirakkoottu, Yathra directed by Balu Mahendra.Both the films were commercially successful.
