Farhaan Faasil who made his acting debut in 2014 with 'Njan Steve Lopez' is back to movies after a long gap with a light hearted romantic flick 'Basheerinte Premalekhanam'. Directed by Aneesh Anwar, the movie stars Sana Althaf as the female lead along with Madhu, Sheela, Aju Varghese and Renjini Jose playing pivotal roles.

Set in the 1980s, the movie narrates the changes that happen in a village after an Onida TV is brought from abroad for the first time. The songs from the movie which were released way before six months have already impressed the audiences. Produced by P M Harris and Mohammed Althaf under the banner Fort Entertainment, 'Basheerinte Premalekhanam' is slated to hit the screens on July 21.
