After Malayalam heroines and heroes, it’s the turn of Malayalam directors to make a foray in Kollywood. A host of Malayalam directors are keen to set foot in Kodambakkam. Lohithadas, who directed Kasthurimaan in Tamil, is trying is hands in Tamil again.

Acclaimed Malayalam director Jeyaraj, who rendered several hits like Thilakam and 4 The People, is directing a movie titled Sila Nerangalil with Navya Nair and Vincent Asokan in the lead. Popular Malayalam director Siddhique is directing Sadhu Mirandal in Tamil featuring Prasanna and Kavya Madhavan in the lead role.

“Tamil films are the ones which augurs in latest innovative practices and narrative styles. The time has now come for the Malayalam industry to imbibe a lot from Kollywood for their betterment”, says Jeyaraj.
