Malayalam Director Turned Down Rajini's Film

Director Alphonse Puthiran who made the sleeper hit Neram' in Tamil and Malayalam and recently the blockbuster hit Premam' in Malayalam has revealed that Superstar Rajinikanth called him after watching Neram' and also asked him to come with a script for him.
Alphonse couldn't believe his luck that the Superstar who is much sought after by all the leading directors of Indian cinema gave him a call. However he has turned down the offer because he feels that he is much more suited doing small niche content films and is not yet ready to handle such a huge star.
