Malayalam Director Turned Down Rajini's Film

Director Alphonse Puthiran who made the sleeper hit Neram` in Tamil and Malayalam and recently the blockbuster hit Premam` in Malayalam has revealed that Superstar Rajinikanth called him after watching Neram` and also asked him to come with a script for him.

Alphonse couldn`t believe his luck that the Superstar who is much sought after by all the leading directors of Indian cinema gave him a call. However he has turned down the offer because he feels that he is much more suited doing small niche content films and is not yet ready to handle such a huge star.
