Popular Malayalam director M Padmakumar, who had recently directed Mamangam starring Mammootty, revealed via social media about the recovery of his son and his colleague from Coronavirus infection, and thanked the doctors and medical staff, who treated them.
Padmakumar’s son Akash and his classmate Eldho Mathew were discharged after testing negative for coronavirus yesterday. Akash and Eldho Mathew were studying in an University in Paris and had returned to Kerala on March 15. While they were asked to self-quarantine for two weeks, both of them later positive for Covid-19 and were being treated by doctors at Kalamassery Medical College.
Padmakumar shared a photo of Akash, Eldho and the health staff in hazmat suits on Facebook to reveal the news of their recovery, as he posted “Dear all, My son Akash and his colleague Eldho Mathew has been discharged from Kalamassery M C, after the treatment of COVID 19 successfully.. Lots of thanks & Love to the Doctors, nurses and all other health workers who were dedicated to fight against this disease.. And my love to the Captain of the entire team our Honourable CM, Sri PINARAYI VIJAYAN, our health Minister Smt. Shylaja teacher, our district Collector S.
