Vijay-Suriya 'Friends' movie director Siddique hospitalized in critical condition

Legendary Malayalam director Siddique has been hospitalized after suffering a massive heart attack. The 69 year old is said to be under intensive care at a private hospital in Kochi and his condition is said to be critical. Celebrities and fans are offering their prayers for his speedy recovery.
Siddique has directed more than 30 films in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. He initially teamed up with his close friend Lal who is now a leading actor seen in 'Karnan' and other Tamil movies. After Lal started concentrating on acting Siddique continued his writing and directing journey.
Siddique has done three Tamil movies 'Friends' starring Suriya and Vijay, 'Kavalan' starring Vijay, 'Engal Anna' starring Vijayakanth and 'Bhaskar Oru Rascal' directed by Arvind Swamy and Amala Paul.
