Popular Malayalam actor and filmmaker Sreenivasan, who recently underwent a bypass surgery, has been put on ventilatory support. According to reports, the actor's health condition worsened after the surgery and has been shifted to ventilator at a private hospital in Ernakulam, Kerala.It was on March 30, the actor complained of a chest pain. After diagnoses and angiogram test, it was found that he was suffering from triple vessel disease. Subsequently, he underwent a bypass surgery on March 31. After the surgery, he was given ventilator support for three days. But after he was moved off support, he developed an infection and has now been moved back on the ventilator again, says the doctors at the hospital. On Thursday, the doctors have said that Sreenivasan was responding well to the treatment. He is reportedly stable now.
