Malayalam actor/director Vineeth Sreenivasan, known for his movies like Oru Vadkkan Selfie, Thattathin Marayatthu, Thira and Jacobinte Swargarajyam, has always been an ardent Tamil cinema lover, and has time and again expressed his love for Tamil films he watches on social media.

The latest movie to have excited him and made him enjoy to the core happens to be none other than the Superstar Rajnikanth starrer Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj. With an ensemble cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, Trisha, Megha Akash, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bobby Simha , Malavika Mohanan and Sasikumar, Petta hit screens on January 10.

Vineeth took it to Twitter to express his joy and his post read "Petta is the best Rajnikanth film in a long long time, after a long time I screamed and applauded shamelessly inside a movie theater. Karthik, thank you for bringing the Superstar back. This was a master stroke!". Vineeth Sreenivasan was last seen in the family hit Aravindante Athidhigal.
