Actress Trisha had scored hits with last year's romantic entertainer 96 co-starring Vijay Sethupathi and directed by Premkumar and started this year with the Karthik Subbaraj directorial Petta where she was paired with Superstar Rajnikanth. The busy actress is currently shooting for several projects.

One among her projects that is being shot is Raangi, directed by M Saravanan known for Engeyum Eppothum and Ivan Vera Maathiri, and the movie is scripted by director AR Murugadoss. Raangi is an action packed thriller and the movie has music scored by C Sathya.

The team has so far released two intense posters featuring Trisha in unique looks, and now it has been revealed that Malayalam actress Anaswara Rajan, who recently impressed in the superhit Malayalam movie Thanneer Mathan Dinangal has been roped in to play a role in Raangi.
