RIP! Legendary comedy actor Innocent who appeared in over 700 films passed away

Legendary Malayalam comedy actor and former Chalakudy MP Innocent was admitted to the hospital on March 3 due to corona infection. He was undergoing treatment in the ICU due to respiratory disorder. However he passed away on Sunday night at the age of 75. His death has left the entire Malayalam film industry in shock.
Actor Innocent is a very popular comedian in Malayalam cinema. He made many fans laugh with his unique body language and facial expressions and in especially speaking the Trissur slang to perfection. So far he has acted in more than 750 films with all leading actors in a career spanning over four decades, Apart from acting Innocent also served as the president of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) for several years. Innocent had also contested the 2014 Lok Sabha election from Chalakudy as an independent candidate and had won, but lost in 2019 to Congress leader Benny Behanan.
Innocent who is survived by his wife Alice, son Sonnect, daughter in law and grandchildren Jr. Innocent and Anna. Several celebrities including Mammootty and Jayaram paid their last respects to the celebrated actor.
Innocent has appeared in two Tamil films namely 'Lesa Lesa' directed by Priyadarshan and starring Madhavan, Trisha and Shaam. He played a major role in the 2019 film 'Naan Avalai Sandhitha Pothu' starring Santhosh Prathap and Chandini Tamilarasan. He also appeared alongside Madhavan in the English film 'Nothing But Life' aka 'Made in USA'. RIP!
