'Malar' not to quit acting

'Malar' is the buzz word in M'Town these days. This character from the movie 'Premam' has become a frenzy among the youth. The overnight celebrity status has overwhelmed actress Sai Pallavi who essayed the role and who is now called 'Malar' than her real name.

In the midst of this came the report that the actress is quitting films since she is pursuing her career in medicine. The cascade of good wishes she received has prompted Sai to reply that she is very grateful for the love that is showered on her and that she will continue to act in films if such roles come her way.
