Heat stroke sent Shah Rukh Khan to the hospital in Ahmedabad, but he was released on Thursday after receiving treatment. Reality TV judge Malaika Arora has subsequently offered her thoughts on the actor's health concerns. Malaika urged everyone to be more "aware" and offered advice on preventing heatstroke in an interview with Instant Bollywood. She counselled, "We should be aware of our surroundings. Essential advice during a heatwave is to stay hydrated, drink plenty of water, dress comfortably, use sunscreen, and carry an umbrella."
Heat stroke-related acute dehydration sent Khan to KD Hospital on Wednesday. He left for Mumbai on Thursday after finishing his therapy. After this health concern, though, fans might have to wait a little longer to see him.
In Ahmedabad for an Indian Premier League (IPL) game at Narendra Modi Stadium, where KKR defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets in Qualifier 1, the actor and co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) booked their fourth IPL final berth.
After paying Shah Rukh a visit in the hospital, KKR co-owner Juhi Chawla gave a health report. She told fans in a News18 interview that the actor will be back to cheer on their side on Sunday in the IPL 2024 finals. "After getting the right care, Shah Rukh is feeling a lot better after not feeling very well yesterday night. God willing, in the finals he will be up and supporting the team from the stands," she said.
