Actor Arjun Kapoor celebrated his 39th birthday with a midnight gathering on June 26, but actor-model Malaika Arora, his girlfriend, conspicuously missed it. Her absence at the festivities has stoked persistent reports of their breakup. At his Mumbai house for the momentous event, the "Mubarakan" actor was joined by his cousins Janhvi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, and Mohit Marwah.

Malaika Arona, who has been seeing Arjun since 2019, skipped the birthday celebration even though she lives in the city. Arjun's uncle and aunt, Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, were seen arriving to rejoice with him, on the other hand. Actor Varun Dhawan accompanied his wife Natasha Dalal to wish Arjun a happy birthday as well.

For some time, there has been conjecture on Arjun and Malaika's split. An IANS story on May 31 indicated the pair had split ways "peacefully." One source said, "Based on Arjun's present attitude, it seems they have parted. Since they had been together for a long period, the split was calm and civil. Arjun and Malaika keep friendly.

Later on, though, Malaika's management said the pair were still together and rejected these allegations. According to a source Pinkvilla was told, "Malaika and Arjun will always have a place in each other's hearts and share a unique friendship. Although they have decided to split ways, they will keep a respectful silence and refuse to allow others to analyze their relationship."

Professionally, Arjun Kapoor is excited for the debut of Ajay Devgn-Rohit Shetty's "Singham Again," planned for this August.
