Vijay Sethupathi's silent help to get jobs for 1 lakh persons raises goosebumps

Vijay Sethupathi one of the leading actors in pan Indian cinema is hailed as the Makkal Selvan (People's Treasure) and time and again he keeps proving that he deserves the prefix to his name. It has been revealed that in the past three years he has silently helped one lakh persons get jobs.
The information has been shared by Veeraraghavan a social activist from Pondicherry who has stated that many celebrities who engage in philanthropy always ensure that their names and their help is known to society. However Vijay Sethupathi according to him has helped this noble cause without publicising it at all and in spite of the star's request he is revealing it now due to gratitude.
Veeraraghavan started an NGO to help the downtrodden people procure jobs in 2016 using Whatsapp as the means of communication. Vijay Sethupathi on hearing about him invited him as a participant in the Namma Ooru Hero' show he hosted on Sun TV. The episode was telecast in March 2019. By that time the social activist had helped 3345 persons.
Vijay Sethupathi impressed by Veeraraghavan's dedication promised to help him reach further heights and did all necessary arrangements for him to set up an office and appoint staff. The NGO was named Vallalaar Velai Vaaipu Sevai Maiam and came into existence on March 14th 2019. The actor had also regularly sent money for the organization to sustain and it was because of that the volunteers worked very hard.
According to Veeraraghavan it was through Vijay Sethupathi's help that from all over India companies contacted the organization and offerred jobs. As of 22nd March 2022 there are 1400 Whatsapp groups and 1,00,133 persons have got jobs through the NGO. The website for job seekers to register is given as https://www.vvvsi.com.
