The next Assembly Elections for the state of Tamil Nadu is just six months away and already the major two parties DMK and ADMK have announced their chief ministerial candidates as M.K. Stalin and Edappadi Pazhanisamy respectively.

Today the Makkal Needhi Maiam top brass had a meeting in a star hotel in Chennai where it has been decided that party president Kamal Haasan would be the chief minister candidate for Elections 2021 to be held in May that year.

It has also been decided that the MNM will form alliances with like minded parties and work towards winning the elections and the rest of the details on that front will be known in the coming months.

Kamal Haasan meanwhile is expected to complete his commitments for 'Bigg Boss 4', and 'Kamal Haasan 232' by January and February end respectively and will concentrate full fledged on politics after that.
