Chinna, which brings together actor Arjun and director Sundar C after their successful run in Giri, has been completed.

However the release of the movie which was expected this early June has been deferred.

What's the problem? No problem, it is just that Chinna is making the way for the release of the much-expected Shankar's Anniyan.

According to Srinivasa Raju, the producer, Chinna has come good. "A typical Sundar C movie, Chinna has all the ingredients to appease people of all sections.

However we don't want to take a risk releasing the movie along with Anniyan which has created great hype and expectations among the people.

Hence Chinna would be released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu on 23 June."

Not just Chinna, about half-a-dozen movies including Katrulla Varai, Athu Oru Kanaa Kaalam, Godfather among others have decided to play safe following the expected release of Anniyan on June 10th.
