After the fantastic reception of "Dhaakad", the makers of Dangal have now released a making of the song.
In the video, you see Aamir Khan, Nitesh Tiwari and Kripa Shankar Bishnoi (coach of the Indian Wrestling team) sharing their experience on the transformation and training of Dangal's Dhaakad Girls - Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar.
From being the dainty girl next door, to transforming into a professional wrestler, there was a lot of blood and sweat put in by the girls and their coach Kripa Shankar Bishnoi.
To increase their fitness levels, stamina, flexibility and learn the techniques correctly, the girls were made to follow the same schedule as the senior women wrestlers had, i.e hardcore training six days a week.
Every morning brought to them a new physical challenge. Despite injuries, they trained vigorously for a year to get into the skin of their characters. In the given time of a year, the girls had to look like trained wrestlers.
They share how this journey has been extremely difficult and painful, yet fruitful.
Take a look at the video to see how they to step into the shoes of Geeta and Babita Phogat -
